RUNNER'S WORLD AWARD: BEST UPDATE (September 2007)
New Balance improved the 767, which won best update in our September guide, by adding a more breathable water-resistant upper. It has the same great fit--due in part to the N-lock arch wrap system that connects the laces to the midsole for a snug and supportive midfoot wrap. The RW Shoe Lab tests showed that the 767 is one of the stiffest shoes in the guide, recommended for runners with low arches or bigger runners with normal arches looking for a water-resistant shoe for winter.
